• Father of two curious & funny girls

• Cyclist (for fun, not stats), as well as a trail runner

• Advocate for local economies and ecologically sound agriculture

 

I live outside Charlottesville, Virginia, and run a bicycle travel company that centers ecological education and local food systems in every tour.

 

My background spans several years in the wine business, from winemaking to wine distribution to working the floor as a sommelier, building wine programs and educational classes. Additionally, I have guided multi-day cycling vacations for five years, everywhere from Michigan to Maine, South Carolina to New York. Any time not spent in the wine world was spent working in the tangential industry of local economy building; connecting local producers with local buyers, via software and funding.

 

My passion sits at the intersection of consumer education and planetary [... human] well-being.
